Hey gals!
I hope you all had a sweet Valentines Day:)
Its been such a CRAAAAZY busy week at work for me, we are getting ready to have a Federal Review in March so lots of preparing is put into that and I'M BEAT!
Here's a wrap up of our love-filled weekend...
Last Saturday I took my 2 sweet boys to see Gnomeo and Juliet... what a CUTE movie!
We did a little shopping for Valentine Treats for their schools:)
On Sunday hubby and I went out to dinner ALL ALONE; it was nice!!
Like we usually do on our dates, we went grocery shopping afterwards... oozing romance, I know! LOL
For Gavin's class, I went to this adorable popcorn shop here called "Pop-Style" and got Valentine Mix popcorn and divided it up into individual treat bags and added a tag that said "Hope Your Valentine's Day is POPPIN!"... it was cute!
Gage had an ice cream party for his preschool; we just sent in cards with suckers; he had 25 kids to give goodies too. By the time I began to shop for candy, it was so picked over:( I chose to not go crazy trying to figure out what to do! But I skipped out on work to go to his party and it was PRECIOUS!!
Here's a couple pics...
Gage enjoying his upside down ice cream sundae:)
The teachers had several games set up and a couple crafts as well...
I talked Gage into making mommy a candy heart...
Busy little hands...
Creating a pretty for his momma!
Have you noticed that the sayings on the Conversation Hearts have changed over the years?
He has one that said "Text Me"... lol!
Most of this busy boys time was spent building with blocks, playing trains or with other toys...
He LOVES anything related to Toy Story!!
On Sunday morn, we celebrated LOVE day with the boys... we gave them their lil goodies then since they had school on Monday...
Gavin got a silly gift; he always complains about no pencils being sharpened for homework time so one day I said "I'm gonna buy you an electric pencil sharpener for Valentines Day!" (I was totally kidding but he said YES YES, I want one!!)
And so, he got an electric pencil sharpener for VDay plus batteries for his camera (he always hounds me about) and some candy! The DUDE was THRILLED!!!
Gage is in LOVE with the game Candy Land and believe it or not, we have never owned that game!
So he got a Candy Land game, a couple little cars that light up and a couple other goodies- but he was THRILLED too:)
See the happiness in those squinty lil eyes?
Love him ♥
Well thats a wrap...
Be back to chat this weekend:)
Noelle ♥
