Gloomy days call for a reminder on what makes US happy!I'm joining up with Dandelion Wishes to share my HAPPY LIST this week:)
Everyone loves a surprise right?I know I do and its even better when it come to my WORK from my HUBBY...a couple weeks ago hubby sent me a DOZEN HUGE red roses to work!Brownie points for him cause its been a decade since he's sent flowers to me at work:)A lovely surprise and I admit it was a TAD bit fun seeing all the other teachers "jealous"!
I'm HAPPY cause for the 1st time in 4 days I'm starting to feel better...on Wednesday I had the most intense cramps/back pain that hit me:( Its not even close to that time of the month either. Since that day I have had pains in the area all under my belly button, tenderness, cramping and horrible back pain! I called my dr and they scheduled me MONDAY for an ultrasound... MONDAY! Ughhhh so sucky to have to wait that many days!I have problems with endometreosis and PCOS so I'm wondering if the pain isn't due to that.And NO I'm not pregnant either:(
I'm HAPPY cause I got out last night, usually I stay home every Friday night with the boys when hubby works but last night we took a little trip to Cracker Barrel with the boys and my bro... had a YUMMY dinner/well "brinner".. I had breakfast for dinner... 2 eggs, a HUUUUGE banana nut muffin and a yogurt parfait with granola, cranberries and crushed pineapple! Its LENT for me so NO meat on Fridays... plus I have given up cheeseburgers and fries for Lent... yea my weekness- GREASY food!
I'm HAPPY cause I've lost 4 of the 8 WINTER POUNDS I've gained back this year due to Christmas COOKIES and other holiday treats!
I'm HAPPY cause at my job we scored EXCELLENT on our Federal Review!!So good that our bosses bought us a HUUUGE cake to celebrate!No we have to wait till March 18 for the President to decide if he will continue to fund Early Head Start... prayers that he does... these young moms DESPERATELY need this program!
I'm HAPPY cause my daffodils and tiger lily's are sprouting up through the muddy cold ground... SPRING is on its way:)
I'm HAPPY cause I STOLE a few minutes away to BLOG... which I miss terribly but my children can't seem to leave me alone for even 20 minutes a day so I can post! I suppose that's flattery since they love their momma SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much?!

Roses are the perfect gift! So sweet of him.
I hope you feel better soon, it's not fun to be in pain and especially when you have to wait to find the problem.
Surprise flowers are the best! And, I looove Cracker Barrel's breakfast for dinner. I could do that every week! So sorry to hear about your pain. I hope you can get some relief soon...does not sound like that would make for a good weekend. :(

Receiving roses from your hubby after so many years is just so sweet and thoughtful. I believe most women would love to experience that too.
Being with your kids is also priceless. I am not a mother but I feel that being with your kids form the best moments of your life.
I love your blog and I hope we could develop a connection by following each others blogs. That would really make me happy.

i use to looove having flowers delivered to me at work. now that my office is in my home it is still fun but i agree half the fun is everyone oooohing and ahhhhing!

I wish I could say that Spring has sprung over here but with so much snow on the ground it will be a while! lol Glad to hear that you have an appointment scheduled to get an ultrasound, hopefully they can find out what is causing you all that pain. I'm saying a little prayer for you!!
