Crop Weekend Projects ♥

Here are the pages that I worked on this past weekend in both of my boys books. I am a pretty simple scrap booker; nice bright paper and a few stickers. To me, its more important to "tell the story" with your photos than with all the fancy embellishments. Would I love to use all those ribbons, brads and buttons that stores sell to accent you pages- yes! Do I have the time to do that; no!

Here is a Halloween page in Gage's book. Most of the papers and stickers I use come from Creative Memories; being a consultant I get a decent discount and feel that I should represent the company by using their products. I do occasionally use products from other stores if there is a particular theme I am looking to acheive with my page.

I love the big bright letters on this page.

Some Christmas photo's; I was a bad photographer this year- didn't get many pics of Gage opening gifts. Then I realized that he was in my lap and I think I opened all of his gifts for him cause he really wasn't that interested in unwrapping this year-lol!

I loved this Winter Additions set that I used here. Pretty blue colors...

Here is Gage's first time sledding!

This lined paper and stickers aren't from Creative Memories, but I wanted a "school" look and I think it came out cute. Gavin helped with the stickers, can you tell??? :)

Here is his Christmas Party that his class had. They played a "Snowman Wrap" game where they took turns wrapping each other in toilet paper to look like snowmen!! It was funny:)

Here are a couple Valentine tags that I made with our Tag Maker; I still need to get some ribbon for them. These are ideas that I will use at my friend's party this week and my Valentine Crop on Saturday.

My 1st Etsy Purchase!!!

So there is this very crafty lady on blogspot named Scrappy Jessi. I love to visit her blog to see all the creative things she makes! I just made my first purchase at her Etsy shop for an ADORABLE Fall Bag Brag album. I am going to put a few our engagement pics in it and keep it in my purse to show off!! I can't wait till it comes:)

Oh, Scrappy Day!

I was very lucky this past Sunday to head over to my friend Angie's house for her "Croptober Fest"! Where I was able to get caught up on Gavin's album for ages 6 and 7. I chose a few of my favorite pages to share with you. I am able to relax and think straight for once (LOL) while I am scrapbooking; its such a great hobby!

I am hosting my own Croptober Fest this Sunday the 19th; which I hope turns out well. The girls will receive lots of goodies and prizes; I am serving some yummy fall snacks and dinner to them too. I also won a Gift Certificate and a FREE facial from a Mary Kay lady, who I invited to come on over that day to pamper all of us girls too! I'll have some pics from that FUN FALL day to post soon!

I did a little shopping today...

Well, as a mother of two, I don't get much time to got out and shop by myself. So I finished work a little early today and decided to go spend one of the gift cards I got for Christmas from a local HUGE scrapbook store here called Pages In Time. I had our wedding on the brain when I went there so I found a couple packs of pretty wedding related stickers.

My oldest boy will be graduating Kdg. in May so I found so adorable kdg. graduation stickers for his book and he also will be taking a swim class at our local YMCA next week during his spring break, so I found so fun swimming/water themed stickers that I thought would make a cute page! I find that the older he gets the less pictures I have of him; I think its that when they get older, you aren't in there face as much with a camera like you would when they were a baby. They don't change as often, you know? I feel bad when I look at his current album:( So with our soon-to-be 1 year old- I have TONS of pics of him this year because he is changing so often! I love having the 2 of them because I can take lots of Big Bro, Little Bro pics to add into both of their albums! But, I don't get to work on my albums too often anymore! That is terrible considering that I am a Creative Memories consultant and have people over to MY house to scrapbook!! And yet I can't keep up on mine.... ugh!

And for Baby Gage, I FINALLY found Blue's Clues' stickers.. talk about an exciting moment! Gage loves Blues Clues; when he hears the theme song, he will stop dead in his tracks and will watch the tv. My older son Gavin loved Blue at this age too, coincidence maybe??

So I will add in pics of the cute finds from my shopping trip today for you to see!
