Hi girls! This FALL wall hanging has been my project the past 2 weeks.
At first, I had the idea of decoupaging the letters to stand up right on a shelf...
then realized the ones I purchased have funky edges so they DON'T stand! UGH!
So then I came up with the idea of hot glueing them to a ribbon... it came out a bit crooked but I guess I am pretty pleased with how it all came out. What do you think?
I painted each letter then added autumn rub-on stickers used for scrapbooking and some leaf stickers too. The ribbon I used on the back came from Wal-Mart on clearance for $0.75 for the roll! The letters were $2.99 a piece.
I REALLY love how the bow at the bottom came out!! I added a couple prima flowers to the center of it and a brown button; kinds looks like a lil sunflower, eh? Then I hot glued a larger sunflower to the top of it.
I think this will go on my front door. It has a large rectangle window in the center of it, so this would fit perfectly!
I love how all the colors came out on my creation; you know I LOVE fall!
Just still a bit frustrated that I didn't get the letters lined up how I wanted to:(

Ha-ha! You're as bad as I am about wanting things to be strait but if I'm going to craft I have to live with my lack of ability to do strait! It ain't happening! It looks fine and no one will notice but you.
