GW Easter pretties and a NEW Home Party concept...

Good Morning girls! I had a bit of time to pass yesterday so I ran into the Goodwill over by my mom's house. She told me the day before that they had a whole aisle of Easter stuff so I wanted to check it out. They actually had 3 aisles of Easter decor!!!

So I found all these goodies yesterday:) I also had a 15% off coupon I got when I donated some old toys and clothes a couple weeks ago, so I ended up spending only $4.54!! Woo-Hoo!! You can't beat that!

I found this really neat Easter basket; I just loved the colors on it- kinda retro colored eggs. I also found a "Happy Spring" and a bunny "shelf sitters". See the cute ceramic egg? It opens up and you can put goodies inside. I also got a 6 pack of paper eggs that I'll end up putting them on my windows.

This little yellow bunny is cute but needs some eyes added to it. Also got the sweet Easter pail and a 2 pack of decorated eggs! I could NOT believe how many Easter Baskets that had; I couldn't decide!!!

My dear friend Holly collects these plates and asked us fellow bloggers to be on the look out for them. This pattern was one that her mom had when they were growing up, so they have sentimental value for sweet Holly! Enjoy Holly ♥

Last night I was invited to a "House Party" that my friend Angie was hosting. It featured products from Ziploc. There is a new website called House Party.com
that you can go to and sign up to host "parties" for companies who want to market their products. I applied for a Fisher Price toys party a couple months ago and was chosen! They sent 4 big toys for Gage to keep plus coupons for moms and little toys for the children that came with their moms. The concept behind the "house parties" are that you share a companies products with family and friends. There is no charge to do them and nothing for anyone to have to buy either. Which is nice!! The site just has you check an agreement that you will use your "party's blog site" to invite guests, post pics or videos about the party you've hosted! Its so easy and all the products are sent to you free and yours to keep!!!

So at Angie's last night, we got a bunch of free products; such as this Ziploc X Large bag which would be great for storing old, out of season clothes for example.

Here are 2 containers that we received, a few Ziploc baggies, a notepad, Sharpie marker and a coupon packet. I also got 2 medium sized bags that had pretty polka dots on them and now I see that the pic didn't come up that I posted- ugh!!
It was a nice time last night to get out, get some free stuff and organizational tips and Angie also served some yummy snacks too!

Here are a couple new pics of my little Gage:) I cannot believe that he will be 2 in April!!! It makes me so sad:)

Here is Gage with all his cars at the kitchen table!! I called it his "used car lot"; which Gavin thought was pretty funny!!! This is what our table looks like everyday; lol! And EVERYDAY I have to clear off all the cars so we have room to eat dinner!!

Holly, awhile back you posted pics of your kitties... Well here is Maxie (the black and white one) getting ready to kick Maddie's butt (the tabby)!! They do this at least 3 times a day and EVERY TIME, Maddie lays there like a dummy while Maxie attacks and bites her!!

And here goes Wrestle-Mania time! The boys laugh because I'll start singing that old "Cat Scratch Fever" song when these 2 fight!! LOL

Hope you all have a nice day! T.G.I.F.~ RIGHT???
Today we are off to look at how we can redo our tub/shower "surround"; man, does it need it!!!

A DAY AT THE PUMPKIN PATCH!

My adorable little family and me!

Gavin picked this one out for himself!

Gavin lead us through the corn maze!

Gage picked out his own pumpkin too!

Isn't this the cutest lil scarecrow
sign??

"I'm King of the World, mom!"

Gage loved the piggies and would make a snorting noise when we walked by them. He also found the noises that the turkeys made to be hilarious too!

Look at the above left pic of my handsome guys walking hand in had! Awwww, looooove it!

Here is Gavin and Gage by the Ruler? Look at how close they are in height! Gavin is 7 years old and 4 feet tall and Gage is almost 1 1/2 years old and almost 3 feet tall!!!

We had a lovely day at the Pumpkin Patch! I love fall and my cute family, so it was a perfect day for me:)

The Shopping Cart Tragedy!

So a couple weeks ago, I had the worst "mom moment" out in public!! I ran into Martin's after school with the boys to get a few things. Gage was buckled in the little seat of the cart, like a good baby. I constantly have to tell Gavin to stay off the back of the cart because (1) he's too heavy and (2) he could tip it over. So we were by the Halloween stuff and I was looking at something when I hear a loud boom and a cry, sooooo... I turn my head and there is my shopping car tipped on its side with Gavin pinned underneath and Gage half hanging out, crying and scared!!! Groceries were on the ground and my purse went flying out of the car. I was STUNNED and SO Mad at the same time. I can't quite recall but I am pretty sure I yelled "What the Hell?" or something not good out loud. With like 2 seconds to think about what to do, as fast as possible to avoid a TON of public humiliation... I grabbed Gage's one arm and pulled the cart up with my other arm. Gavin was crying because his leg was stuck so I hurried up and pulled the cart off of him. I noticed a man walking by, who didn't bother to ask if I needed help!! (Jerk!!!) So I got the cart pulled up, checked my children for injuries, loaded to groceries back in, yelled at Gavin to pick up my purse and proceeded to get the heck out of there as quick as I could check out!! (I have to laugh about this now because I can imagine how stupid this whole situation looked! LOL) So we get to the check out lane and Gavin is crying and says "I'm so stupid!". The cashier looks at me like, what did you say to your child, lady? She then asks for my Martin's card and says "How are you today?" I thought for a brief second... hmmmm, do I tell her my humiliating story or not? I just said "I have had WAYYYY better days and today I learned to never take my children to the store again!!!!"

So my advice to my fellow mom friends, DO NOT let your kids stand/"ride" on the back of the grocery cart- cause this can happen to you!!!

(Hope you were able to find the humor in this! Now, I can:) When it was happening I wanted to DIE!!!)
