GW Easter pretties and a NEW Home Party concept...

Good Morning girls! I had a bit of time to pass yesterday so I ran into the Goodwill over by my mom's house. She told me the day before that they had a whole aisle of Easter stuff so I wanted to check it out. They actually had 3 aisles of Easter decor!!!

So I found all these goodies yesterday:) I also had a 15% off coupon I got when I donated some old toys and clothes a couple weeks ago, so I ended up spending only $4.54!! Woo-Hoo!! You can't beat that!

I found this really neat Easter basket; I just loved the colors on it- kinda retro colored eggs. I also found a "Happy Spring" and a bunny "shelf sitters". See the cute ceramic egg? It opens up and you can put goodies inside. I also got a 6 pack of paper eggs that I'll end up putting them on my windows.

This little yellow bunny is cute but needs some eyes added to it. Also got the sweet Easter pail and a 2 pack of decorated eggs! I could NOT believe how many Easter Baskets that had; I couldn't decide!!!

My dear friend Holly collects these plates and asked us fellow bloggers to be on the look out for them. This pattern was one that her mom had when they were growing up, so they have sentimental value for sweet Holly! Enjoy Holly ♥

Last night I was invited to a "House Party" that my friend Angie was hosting. It featured products from Ziploc. There is a new website called House Party.com
that you can go to and sign up to host "parties" for companies who want to market their products. I applied for a Fisher Price toys party a couple months ago and was chosen! They sent 4 big toys for Gage to keep plus coupons for moms and little toys for the children that came with their moms. The concept behind the "house parties" are that you share a companies products with family and friends. There is no charge to do them and nothing for anyone to have to buy either. Which is nice!! The site just has you check an agreement that you will use your "party's blog site" to invite guests, post pics or videos about the party you've hosted! Its so easy and all the products are sent to you free and yours to keep!!!

So at Angie's last night, we got a bunch of free products; such as this Ziploc X Large bag which would be great for storing old, out of season clothes for example.

Here are 2 containers that we received, a few Ziploc baggies, a notepad, Sharpie marker and a coupon packet. I also got 2 medium sized bags that had pretty polka dots on them and now I see that the pic didn't come up that I posted- ugh!!
It was a nice time last night to get out, get some free stuff and organizational tips and Angie also served some yummy snacks too!

Here are a couple new pics of my little Gage:) I cannot believe that he will be 2 in April!!! It makes me so sad:)

Here is Gage with all his cars at the kitchen table!! I called it his "used car lot"; which Gavin thought was pretty funny!!! This is what our table looks like everyday; lol! And EVERYDAY I have to clear off all the cars so we have room to eat dinner!!

Holly, awhile back you posted pics of your kitties... Well here is Maxie (the black and white one) getting ready to kick Maddie's butt (the tabby)!! They do this at least 3 times a day and EVERY TIME, Maddie lays there like a dummy while Maxie attacks and bites her!!

And here goes Wrestle-Mania time! The boys laugh because I'll start singing that old "Cat Scratch Fever" song when these 2 fight!! LOL

Hope you all have a nice day! T.G.I.F.~ RIGHT???
Today we are off to look at how we can redo our tub/shower "surround"; man, does it need it!!!

Oh, Goody, Goodwill!

So, I spent $3.49 today!! It was 50% off today at GW so I did good:) Gosh, I wish everything in this world was so cheap! lol

I found this cute chubby snowman, he was $0.25!! He is glittery too but you can't really see it. Next to him is a sparkly hanging ball made with little glitter covered apples- too pretty! Then I got the 2 wooden ornaments next to it; a snowman and the Santa tree, those were $0.25 and $0.50!!! Then last I found the stocking sign with raffia and some bells on it. It was handpainted! I love wooden rustic looking decor; it makes me think of a cabin in the woods during winter time:)

Its amazing when you feel good, the things you can accomplish! Even though I was on a natural high last night because I got my degree- woo-hoo again; I fell asleep right away. Got up at 6am and got ready before I woke up the boys. Oh and I must mention that my lil Gage slept all night last night for me !! A good nights sleep- thats another woo-hoo! I took Gavin to school then Gage and I ran to Wal-Mart, to Good-Will where I got some cute-sies for CHEAP!! Then we met our friends for breakfast and a play date. All of that accomplished and we were home at 11am:) Gage is napping now like a good boy so mom's playing catch up!

Close-up of wooden ornaments, the flash on my camera made them look washed out; much cuter up close!

This ball is so pretty and is going in my kitchen!

Here is a better shot of the stocking sign! Isn't it cute?

And last, is a close-up of chubby frosty!

I am taking the boys this afternoon to get their Christmas pics taken and then Gavin has his Christmas program tonite! The children had to choose an animal from the nativity scene and wear that "costume" tonite. Gavin is being a sheep!!

Tomorrow is my last final and the prof is such a doll that she's having a little Christmas party for us too!! Then I am going to get some new hi-lites done in my hair, wait till you see the colors!

And Friday is Gavin's Christmas Party at school and I am going to be making Gingerbread Houses with the kids made with graham crackers!!
I can't wait to see how they come out:)

Chat with you later,
Noelle

Today must be... Two Post Thursday!

Today, I needed to get out of the house to clear the grouchiness out of my head so Gage and I went to visit my mom then headed to Goodwill!
Holly inspired me with her beautiful shabby bookshelf that she found there, so I thought I'd go see what I could find!

I had old cool Christmas things on the brain to find at Goodwill, which I did have success finding, but I also found this pretty dish with a couple roses on it. They matched the roses on my living room throw pillows so I had to get it! I only spent like $7.49 today and got all of these items...

Cute set of 3 decoupage angel ornaments!

I loved this little snowman jar, it holds a tea-light candle on the top too.

This Christmas serving tray was WAY too CUTE to pass up; it was only 2 bucks!
I think we will use it to put Santa's cookies and milk on the night before he visits us:)

And the DEAL of the DAY!!!!

This pretty hot pink tree full of glitter which you can't see was only $1.00!!
I must have missed the first time I went down the one aisle, then I went back and thought OH, My GOSH!!! It is so cute! The pot is painted silver; I have been thinking about what I can add to it to make it even more pretty!

Here is another one of my favorite Gingerbread cuties! I got this sign made a couple summers ago at the Blueberry festival; it says "Noelle's Kitchen" on it.

Last week I got my Christmas Cracker Swap package from Sue!
Let me tell you that the cracker she made REALLY cracked and shot confetti all over!

Here is the big cracker all jazzed up for Christmas!

So many goodies inside... sparkly confetti, little white doves, angels, a lady bug pin and so much more.

Some very cute and girly tissues!!

Some pretty beads, ribbon and little wooden fairies.

This candle ring was made with glittery berries too; I think I am going to add a ribbon and make a little wreath out of it!
It matches really nice in my living room as well.

A collection of Christmas stories for me to read for some down time.

This cool tree is made out of silver bells and it rings so pretty!

This soft green start ornament went right on my tree:)

She also sent me some birthday and Snoopy stickers; I'll have to share with my mom, who loves Charlie Brown anything!

I'm off to get dinner started and to fold more laundry! I think I have a burst of energy to get the rest of my Christmas decor out too.
