2 Post Tuesday: Swaps, Crafts, Decor and More!!

Eeeekk! I got my Vintage Valentine Swap package from Michele today!! You can pop over to her blog to see what I sent her.
What wonderful surprises were inside!!

See, even Gage is tickled by what his mommy got!! lol:)

A heart applique, a pretty floral hankie, and a fun vintage valentine tag!

A pretty sachet full of chocolate hearts- most are gone now! Maybe thats why my tummy is hurting??

I looooooooooooooove this frame she made with the glitter and beautiful paper inside with cream roses on it!! Good job Michele!

Candy hearts that I shared with the boys and some heart ornaments!

A beautiful and glittery ceramic heart ornament; sweet little angel on it!!

She decorated another heart ornament so pretty! It says "To my Valentine"!!

A YUMMY smelling Tea Rose Candle and Pink Lily and Berries body butter; I love body butter!

Some valentine scrap booking papers, a big and blingy pink diamond, and some valentine cards ♥ ♥

And my new love- pink and brown!! A notepad set! Thanks again Michele- you did an AMAZING job on my package; I am sooo lucky!!

I ran a couple errands today and picked up some things for my Valentine Crop this weekend! Some pink and red tablecloths, glitter to "bling out" our tags, red and pink ribbon and these pink utensils were $0.50 a bag; what a steal!!

I also found these paper conversation hearts to hang from the basement ceiling! Aren't they too cute??

Will you be mine??
Blog bud, that is!!

Got this cute little valentine pot at GW last week!! I think it was $1.00!!

I finally hung my old wooden shelf back up in the living room today and while I was cleaning out our pantry, I found a container that had my tea-cups and little knick-knacks in it!! I was wondering where they went!! DUH!

They Valentine bears above and the bear family below were some that I inherited from my "nanny" when she passed away. She loved bears and had a HUGE shelf in her living room with probably over 100 bear statues on it!

Remember the beachy frames that I found at GW a couple weeks ago?
Here it is but redone...

I freshened up the white paint and added a sheet of pretty rose paper and a pink ribbon to hang it. My mom said she think I should add something to it; maybe a bigger rose?? What do you think? I kinda like how simple it is; the white pops against our tan wall paint.

This little gingerbread pitcher- its actually a tart burner was found at GW too last week!!!

And this little gingerbread boy was the only one left on the shelf at CVS for $0.75!! His bag is so cute too!! He's staying out year round!!

I'm off to bed; my tummy is hurting-yuck!

Good finds, projects and more!

Hello girls! I'm back but still stuffed up and miserable:( Yesterday I had some extra time in between classes so I ran over to Target where I snagged this robe for Gage! It was $3.74 on clearance:) He loves anything red and still calls it "Ho, Ho, Ho!"; lol! Anything red reminds him of Santa; he's so cute! So this robe caught my eye because it has gingerbread houses on the inside of it, which you know are my absolute fave thing!! It also has little sock monkeys too. I know this isn't the nicest pic of him- but see if you can see the gingerbread houses!!

He looks so PLUMP in this robe and LOVES to wear it!

On Sunday, I made a quick trip to Good will where I found this Yankee Candle tart warmer for $2.00! The original price on the back from the store said $13.99! Its so pretty- cream colored with pink roses; it goes nicely in my living room:) I got some other things too but can't show them at this time; they are "projects/gifts" for someone!

These beachy prints are cute but I mainly wanted the frames; the paint needs to be touched up. I plan to use these with some pretty scrapbook paper that I bought from Hobby Lobby, to put in the living room as well.

I may have mentioned before that I am a Creative Memories consultant? This is the consultant magazine that we get each month; I absolutely LOOOOOVE the project idea on the cover! It reminded me of an idea that Priscilia gave us for the Vintage Valentine Swap that I am in. You can take an old valentine candy box and recover it in pretty paper. The one shown here is using one of CM's 12x12 Page Additions set that sells for $9.00; it comes with paper and stickers for Valentine's Day. They also used their different Heart Punches to create the sweet hearts around the edges!! TOO CUTE! Don't ya think???

Close-Up of the box...

They added some ribbon and a Tag, using the Tag Maker that we have in our product line.

Add some yummy chocolates and you have a lovely gift to give your sweetie!

Below are a few "SNEAK PEEKS" of some things I have been busy working on for my Vintage Valentine Swap partner...

Like what you see? Oh, I had soooo much fun making these things and I hope Michele loves them!!

Have a great day girls!!

Give-Away Ends Tomorrow!

Hey girls! I have been a bit out of commission with a nasty head cold this past weekend:( I can't stop sneezing and its making me miserable!! I have been able to muster up some energy to work on the Vintage Valentine Swap that I am in and a gift for a sweet friend!

Don't forget that today is the last day to leave a comment to be entered in my 100th Post Valentine Give-Away:) I will be drawing the winner tomorrow morning and posting around 8:30/9 am (hopefully). I am thrilled with the new faces that have stopped over to enter; I am trying to get over to all of your blogs to get to know you as well!

That's all for now! I have some housework to do (my hubby to be is out of town for work till Thursday night, so I am flying solo with our two boys!! WHEW!).

Today must be... Two Post Thursday!

Today, I needed to get out of the house to clear the grouchiness out of my head so Gage and I went to visit my mom then headed to Goodwill!
Holly inspired me with her beautiful shabby bookshelf that she found there, so I thought I'd go see what I could find!

I had old cool Christmas things on the brain to find at Goodwill, which I did have success finding, but I also found this pretty dish with a couple roses on it. They matched the roses on my living room throw pillows so I had to get it! I only spent like $7.49 today and got all of these items...

Cute set of 3 decoupage angel ornaments!

I loved this little snowman jar, it holds a tea-light candle on the top too.

This Christmas serving tray was WAY too CUTE to pass up; it was only 2 bucks!
I think we will use it to put Santa's cookies and milk on the night before he visits us:)

And the DEAL of the DAY!!!!

This pretty hot pink tree full of glitter which you can't see was only $1.00!!
I must have missed the first time I went down the one aisle, then I went back and thought OH, My GOSH!!! It is so cute! The pot is painted silver; I have been thinking about what I can add to it to make it even more pretty!

Here is another one of my favorite Gingerbread cuties! I got this sign made a couple summers ago at the Blueberry festival; it says "Noelle's Kitchen" on it.

Last week I got my Christmas Cracker Swap package from Sue!
Let me tell you that the cracker she made REALLY cracked and shot confetti all over!

Here is the big cracker all jazzed up for Christmas!

So many goodies inside... sparkly confetti, little white doves, angels, a lady bug pin and so much more.

Some very cute and girly tissues!!

Some pretty beads, ribbon and little wooden fairies.

This candle ring was made with glittery berries too; I think I am going to add a ribbon and make a little wreath out of it!
It matches really nice in my living room as well.

A collection of Christmas stories for me to read for some down time.

This cool tree is made out of silver bells and it rings so pretty!

This soft green start ornament went right on my tree:)

She also sent me some birthday and Snoopy stickers; I'll have to share with my mom, who loves Charlie Brown anything!

I'm off to get dinner started and to fold more laundry! I think I have a burst of energy to get the rest of my Christmas decor out too.
