I am so lucky to be able to "get-away" this weekend to a cozy little bed 'n breakfast in Amish Country for a little scrapbooking "retreat"!! My friend Angie that sells Creative Memories is hosting a Crop weekend at the Olde Buffalo Bed and Breakfast. Its actually Friday and Saturday this weekend but I opted to only go for one night- Saturday.Its going to be so much fun and nice to relax after being home all week with the boys, by myself. Brian has been working about 4 hours away in Michigan since Monday. He'll be home tonite then leaves again on Monday to work up there for another 4 days. The boys have been pretty good for me this week, but its been tough as sick as I have been feeling.
Have you ever stayed at a Bed and Breakfast? I have stayed at 2 different ones. Its so much more comfy feeling and cleaner, don't you agree? I'll take a home cooked breakfast there anyday over a hotel's continental (boring) breakfast!!! Can you tell that I am a breakfast lover??

One of the rooms; I forget the name of this one though. There will be 14 of us and I am "rooming" with my friend Angie. So... we will have to share a bed!! lol She said "Don't worry, we can snuggle!!" lol I told her "No offense, but I'll pass!" She's a NUT!!
This is their "attic" room; be nice if Angie and I got this one, then we wouldn't have to "snuggle"!!!! :)-
This room is called the Amanda, and I think is my favorite one! Its so light and airey looking- very relaxing and pretty!!

Well, I am off to the dr. here in a bit. I missed my first class today for the appt. then I have my first Math quiz at 1 pm; wish me luck!!!

Gorgeous! I am so excited for you! Chad and I go to the same B&B in Holland Michigan every single summer! We just love it :) You can see it my August archives. The place you are going to looks beautiful! I love amish country. I hope you have a beautiful time!

Noele, I am so feeling tears well up! I know you can't help it and you deserve to go,but God,I so could use such a blissful time away! I found out that my spine injections can cause the type of cateracts they found in me! Had I ever been told of the side effects of those shots I never would have taken them! Yep, I'm crying now, all because of that car accidents. Please take pictures of your room! I sure hope and pray I get to go to Angie's one, and its so pretty! Love, Mom HAVE FUN FOR US BOTH!

Oh wow, what a beautiful B&B you're heading to! I've only stayed in one once and I didn't want to leave! lol It was done up in Victorian times and omigosh, the lace and ruffles everywhere...that was quite a few years ago and at that time I wasn't into taking pictures so I don't have any of that place. Pout. I need to go back there! lol Have a fun time and I do hope you feel better real soon!! xoxo
