Before & After's!!

Remember this gross looking duck photo/frame I found at Goodwill earlier today?
Well, look out below!!

Here is the AFTER! I took out the old duck pic and added my piece of damask scrapbook paper and then spray painted the frame black! (Not in that order, of course! lol) I also added the burgundy ribbon to hang it on the wall with. I LOOOOVE IT!
Its already hanging in our bedroom too:)

Here is the other old photo frame I got today. I liked the burgundy color with the gold accents but it didn't look good with the black and white toile paper that I wanted to use.

So, here is the BEFORE...

And here is the AFTER! Didn't it come out pretty? I did the same black spray paint then put the paper inside and added the ribbon for hanging.

Here is a shot without the flash...

Remember these iron shelf/hooks too? See the one on the right without the hook? I didn't even notice it was missing till I got it home. Hmmm? What to do with that one?

I spray painted this one black and added one of the Partylite votives that I found at Goodwill last weekend, to the shelf with hot glue! Who would have ever thought?
Not me!!

Even my Gavin was proud of my "works of art" today!! Wonder what Brian will think when he gets home from work? He'll probably roll his eyes like he usually does, lol!

Have a great night girls!

What a great job you did with those frames...they look terrific with that scrapbooking paper in them!! Also love your idea of putting the votive on the iron shelf. Isn't it amazing what we can do when we set our minds to it? hehe xoxo

Hey there pretty princess! So fun! I like that.

Well concerning your candle /shelf project, you said, "Who would have thought?" But you did thought- didn't you?! :>

I am not a big black/white fan but I can see what a GREAT job you did with your frames! Isn't it great to get those nice frames for so cheap and then change them up? It makes me feel like such a victor!
