I think we are all ready for Spring, right?? Last night we had a big rainstorm with thunder and lightening! Is that a sign? Is Spring finally just around the corner?? HOPE SO! Look at all of these pretty eggs above! I cannot wait to get my Easter decor out:) I did some shopping yesterday for my boys' Kids Easter Swap partners! Gavin is partnered with a 7 year old boy and Gage is partnered with a 2 year old little girl; man, did I have too much fun finding things for her!! Its not everyday that I get to buy for a little girl and I find myself getting a little out of control when I do so!!! LOL
Oh, to be able to walk across a bridge like this and see all the lush greens and pretty flowering trees! I think I am going to be a flower planting maniac this spring/summer! I miss COLOR so much!
Or to sit on this bench in a field of tulips with a cup of coffee and a magazine and... SILENCE!! What would I do with myself???Gavin has strep throat again! Or did it not totally go away? I took him to the dr. 2 weeks ago today; he broke out in a "strep rash" which I've never even seen before! The other day he said his throat hurt and was running a fever. Gage is now coughing with a runny nose and fever. I think he is going to have to go to the dr. today; I am worried that maybe he picked up strep from Gavin!!
My mom and I are going to another big bridal show tomorrow! It'll be fun to get away from all the crying and boogers for a few hours!!
Sunday, I hope to get my Easter decor out and pictures taken of it!

i really miss color, too- especially since I didn't get any winter pansies planted this year. :< I do have a couple plants inside that have a couple blooms- so that helps.
I guess we never did set a date for our swap... I can't beleive you're done already! ~ gulp ! ~ Well, I'm going to be a real live little girl and not open mine until easter morning! ☺ So, you don't have to send mine yet but I guess we better set a deadline... How bout you pick? Ha-ha!
I agree. Im so tired of all the sickness and ready for Spring. I love winter and snow,but we really don't get any here. The temperatures are up and down so sickness is something that holds on.
Im ready to open my house up and let the sun shine in.
Hey I thought you weren't going to be around til the weekend! Good to see you already, we had a biggest rainstorm too. Woke her up and I had to go rock her. There are still lit bits of snow on the ground only a little bit so hopefully spring is around the corner. Can't wait for all the tulips in the hood to begin pushing up.
Yeah, let's say the end of March but if I'm done before then, I'll send before then. Sound good?

I soooo wish Spring was right around the corner here but with -5F temps and tons of snow, it doesn't feel like it's coming any time soon! lol I'm longing for Spring and Summer and can't wait to be able to travel and visit place like the Gardens you showed us in pictures!!!!
Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear the boys are not feeling well. Strep throat is so painful. Poor little guys, I do hope they get better real soon. I know how hard it is on mommy as well when the kids aren't feeling well!
Can't wait to see your Easter decorations. I don't usually decorate until near the end of March for Easter but I may just do it earlier to have colour around me!! lol xoxo
