Curious Kids Museum

Wow, its been 13 days since I've blogged... so so sad!
My job sucks the life out of me, not to mention the college course, raising 2 kids and caring for a home, whew!
I miss all the fun things I USED to have time for... blogging, crafting and scrapbooking :(

For some reason, blogger has decided to make the blogs I follow DISAPPEAR, again... UGH!
So I really am behind visiting everyone, sighhh!

Enough of my whining, right?!
Here are some pics from the trip the boys and I took to St.Joe, MI a couple weeks ago to the Curious Kids Museum, what a FUN place!!

Gavin up top the Volcano Slide; every 60 seconds it would "erupt"!

Gage loved feeding these dino's :)

This station was cool- you could build with blocks on a "plate" and then put a button to replicate an earthquake which would make the blocks fall down, Gavin found this very interesting.

Gage's fave part of the museum was the building area...

He got right in there with the tool belt, safety goggles and saw:)
He loves to pretend to build and it was so fun with all these wood planks!

Gavin popped in to help his lil bro paint!
Gage was so in love with this lil old paint can and roller!
I had a hard time getting Gage out of this area, to try to explore with his brother.
My boys are 3 and 9, and both have totally different interests; it was challenging taking them here by myself because they both wanted to be in seperate areas.

Water play station is always fun...
Gavin enjoyed the old fashioned water pump, that really worked!

Onto the apple orchard...

This area was SO cute!
The children go to load apples onto a lever which would roll them down into the trees; the trees had holes that held the apples in place so the children could pick them.
It was the most popular area in the museum, kids were fighting over who was going to pick the apples!
Gage wanting to find some apples to pick...
Their was a cute store set up and these two LOVED to play store!
Gage ran the register while Gavin shopped!

He loved the scanner, so cute!
The funny thing is we have play food and a cash register at home...
do you think they'd play that together at home?
OF COURSE NOT!

Gavin found interest in the fire truck and fireman dress up clothes; do you see his face?
He was acting out the sound of the water spraying from the house, lol!

Gavin gearing up to fight a fire...
He said the coat was super heavy, and he wondered how firefighters are able to move in that gear!
Now he's off to fight a fire, mask and all :)

While Gavin was off fighting fires, Gage the builder was hard at work...
Loading up a huge tool box, he cracks me up!!

Gage went fishing upstairs, he loved this boat too!

Gavin found interest in the pretend News Station...
Thats my boy on the left, being very studious as he read the script!
Look at how cute he folded his hands?!
Thats some random kid on the right... lol!

I ♥ Him!
I told him he could become a meteorologist for the news; since he's fascinated with the weather:)
 ....................................................................

At the end of the museum day, we walked downtown to find an old fashioned dime store, and to get some ice cream... look how precious they walked hand in hand!! ♥

We found a cool toy store where Gage FELL IN LOVE with this Thomas the Train table!
He "weally weally wants Santa to bwing him one for Cwistmas"!! :)

It was a sweet day...
nice weather and we all had fun ♥

I'm hoping to get my Fall decor up to day since its rainy here!!

Noelle ♥

That had to be a fun trip! Wish I were there with you! The boys looked so content and happy having fun in their own element. Take life one day at a time. You will get through it all. When you are older you will laugh and wonder how the heck you did it all! HeeHee. Anne

It looks like you had a great day with the boys...that museum looks awesome...wish we had something like that in our area that I could have taken my boys to, when they were little. Looks like such fun for them and you :)
