Fall Face-lift

I got some time to myself today in the house and did some cleaning AND decorating for Fall!
I can't believe its September:)
Had to show some of my yummy fall faves... Affy Tapples... yum!
Pillsbury Pumpkin Quick Bread is super easy and GOOD!
Found these cute Fall Rice Krispie treats too, the boys love them!

I will ADMIT that I FINALLY took down all the Red, White and Blue decor off my hutch today,
sad huh?
I've just been busy and have been neglecting it.
I pulled out one tote of Fall decor and gave my hutch a "fall face-life"!

Love it!
Love the Fall colors of everything, and how warm and welcoming it is ♥

Here are some close ups...
Filled my cute tea cup planter with some faux gourds and wrapped a glittery leave ring around the base... aren't those placemats cute?
Better Homes and Gardens and I found them at Walmart awhile back for $1 a piece.
The top of my trifle bowl filled with some Apricot scented potpourri...
big bag of it for $5 at Walmart too.
Isn't she cute?
I found this sweet doll shelf sitter at Cracker Barrel when I took the boys to St. Joe, MI last weekend (more pics from that trip to come).
I loved that she was holding apples, since thats the them of my kitchen :)

Added my fall cookie cutters in this jar so I wouldn't have to search for them when the boys and I do some Fall cutout cookies...

This pumpkin filled with flowers was from our wedding last year and this candle is the won I recently won, isn't it cute?
Smells so good, just like a Pumpkin Roll!

My recent find... the cute apothecary jar filled with Reeses Pieces and fall colored M&M's!

My fave cute plates from Walmart too, made by Better Homes and Gardens... scored them for $1 a piece too awhile back:)

 Cutest lil pumpkin statue, huh?
It was my grandma's ♥
Pumpkin tea light holder...

This white plastic dish was a GW find too and in it is one of my bridesmaids bouquets from last fall... isn't it so pretty?
(I was having a GREAT picture taking evening here!!)

Fall centerpiece for the kitchen table, made by me ♥

...........................................................................
I was SO thrilled today to have a little bit of time to clean house ALONE and decorate... I even started a lil craft:)

Here's a sneak peek...
2 little wooden signs I found at Hobby Lobby last Fall...
I painted and glittered them...
And here's whats going on them...
These cute lil wooden shapes were from HL too last fall... they were like $0.50 each.

I can't wait to see how they turn out!
I'm loving this 3 day weekend!!
I wish I could work like 4 nine hour days then have 3 day weekends all the time, lol!
I feel so much more relaxed and productive!

On a brighter note...
My job is getting BETTER!
The babies seem to be adjusting better as well, which makes for an "easier" day (I use that term loosely here!)... the teacher I am working with has finally "reached out" to me and we clicked finally... and I have to say I'm becoming attached to a couple of the teen moms we have.
So I do feel like I want to stay in this position now... it was SO hard at first, I did want to give up.
Now my children have adjusted better to my schedule, as I have too.
Gavin is LOVING 3rd grade!
Lil Gage started preschool last week and LOVES it SO much too...
here's his first day of preschool pics...
He needed to take his Bee Pillow to show his teacher Miss Cindy and "needed" to finish his chocolate milk too, he cracks me up... such a doll baby ♥

I ♥ him!
Can't believe he's almost 3 1/2!!

Here's what preschool does to him...
Knocks him out, lol!
He sleeps just like daddy... with his mouth hanging open :)
....................................................
Also my oldest Gavin has signed up to be on Student Council!!
I'm so proud of him wanting to take on a leadership role ♥
We are also attending the 1st Cub Scouts meeting this Tuesday as well; he too wants to join them!
Here's my oldest doll on his 1st day of 3rd grade!
Holy cow, I have a 3rd grader!!!
................................
I'm so glad to be able to put together a HAPPY post:)
Things are going pretty well right now, and its almost like a huge weight has been lifted!
Although I'm still pretty stressed with trying to manage all that needs to be done...
oh well I don't feel like SuperWoman for nothing ;)

Hope you all are having a FABULOUS weekend too!
Noelle ♥

I love how you used your bouquet in that dish, so pretty! Can't wait to see the finished project and it was fun to see Gage with his Bee pillow. ER has a travel one, the purple hippo. Fun to see Gavin is getting involved in school council too. But most happy to see the job is going better, adjustment time is always hard. Glad things are getting better, I knew there would be some hiccups along the way but I was getting worried things weren't going to turn around! {hugs}

Looking at all your gorgeous Fall decorations is making me want to take all mine out...which I'll probably do next weekend:-) Tomorrow I have a bunch of tomatoes to can and then Wednesday I have to take mom to an appointment and on Friday bring her out shopping so my week is pretty booked up! I agree with you, Fall colours make a house so welcoming and comfy looking:-)

Glad the boys are loving school, hard to believe that Gage is already in pre-school!! Wow, he was just a baby when you started blogging:-) He's got a smile that you can't help but smile back at!! I'm so proud of Gavin as well for getting involved in the student council, good for him!!!

Glad to hear the job is going a bit better, hopefully it will just keep getting better:-) xoxo

Good Morning Noelle!
Your fall hutch and decor look so beautiful...I know you had such a fun time putting it all together...I have been itching to do some fall decorating myself and it's on my list of things that I am wanting to do...I can hardly wait...I'll be sure to show it on my blog when I'm done :) You have surely inspired me to get going with it!

I am so happy that your job is going well and that your family is adjusting to the new schedule. I know it wasn't easy on you to start with, God Bless you....I'll tell ya, just adjusting to back to school for kids is always a little stressful...it's a busy time of year, then throw in a new job and holy moly...I can only imagine the stress. I say, a little home nesting is definately the cure for de-stressing, so glad you got some time out to play house and to take some time for you :)
Hope you have a happy week sweetie...
Big Hugs,
Queenie

So glad the job is getting easier. Your lovely little autumn touches are so nice to see. It feels like fall today, but it will warm back up to the 90s later this week. When Gage is tired of that pillow I might know someone who might like another little bee! :)

Your craft is going to be so cute! Gosh I love glitter!

Love all the fall decorations! I thought about putting some out, but think I will wait a couple more weeks. It still doesn't quite feel like fall to me yet. Although I did buy the fall color M&Ms! :)
