What are your Easter Traditions that you have with your family now, or in the past?
Usually on the day before Easter we color and decorate eggs with the boys; I love to do this! Last year, Brian wanted to hide those real eggs in the house for the boys to find, lol! I was so worried that we wouldn't find them all and then a rotten smell would appear a couple days later- but thank goodness, they found them all!! This year we are going to do a little egg hunt outside on our yard with the boys; I got the eggs bought and candy to go inside!! We also usually take them to see the Easter bunny too. I want to do this today with them, if we are able to get out of the house in time:) The "BUNNY" puts their baskets outside of their rooms so the boys see them when they wake up in the morning.

We also go to my future mother-in-laws home for lunch and another egg hunt! Her "bunny" hides eggs that have $$ inside of them (well, coins) but that is SO exciting for the kids! Although, she gives the kids plastic grocery bags to put their eggs in, instead of Easter baskets:( Thats the picky mom in me talking right now, lol!! Maybe I'll visit the GW and pick up some cheap Easter baskets for the kids to have this year- would that drive her crazy?? LOL I know she means well:)
I think that I will sneak my SCRAPBOOK SUNDAY post in tonite, since we are leaving tomorrow morning.
Have a wonderful day girls ♥

Hi, Noelle! ♥ We really don't have any traditions. I'm a rebel! ☺ Micah so does NOT like anything crafty but maybe he'll want to help me do some eggs this year. After all, Bobby will be gone and he will be more easily bored.
Concerning your post tomorrow did you know you can have your posts automatically schedualed to publish? I never do it but that is an option.
This is our first married Easter so we don't have any traditions. (Well we did give each other Easter baskets last year...)I want to start some though. My husband has never dyed eggs (crazy, right??) so we are going to do that this week.
Thanks for sharing your Easter traditions!
I am so exhausted right now, so I'm off to bed just wanted to say have a great time in Chicago!
I've got my Scrapbook Sunday post all done and ready to go ahead of time for once!
Our traditions are fairly traditional the whole dye eggs, hide them, find an Easter basket on Sunday, going to Mass, big ham with cheesy potatoes for dinner with the fam...
Our traditions are also busy. The night before we decorate the eggs. In the morning the girls looks thru their baskets and look for eggs that the bunny has hidden. Then we have a big breakfast. We only usually do this at Easter and Thanksgiving.
Then we go to the in laws and they have a egg hunt and then we have dinner over there.
I will also be putting up a Scrapbook Sunday Post.
Noelle ~ we always took the kids {before they grew out of it} to see the Easter bunny. Some years I would hide their baskets and make them hunt for them a little bit. {Never any hiding places that were TOO tough!} They would always go over to my mom's house to color eggs every year too. Now that they are 13, 15 and almost 18, they haven't had to search for their baskets or sit on the lap of the Easter bunny, but it's still nice to get dressed up and go to church. :o)
I usually go to church with my Grandparents who live an hour away on Sunday mornings and then everyone meets at my aunts house for lunch and then the guys hide eggs while the women stay inside with the kids and then we pretty much just hunt eggs and hang out til 4 or so and then we travel back. Sometimes my bday falls on Easter or around Easter and after easter egg hunting we do my birthday, which we will be doing this year because my bday actually falls on Easter. Seeing as how this is my last celebrated bday with the whole family, besides just my immediate family,I have to cherish the fact that it is on easter.
