Hi sweet girls! I feel like I have been SO out of the loop the past few days... sorry! My posts haven't been "fun" like I usually try to make them, I am trying to get adjusted to my new "lifestyle change" with eating (my dr. won't let me call it a DIET!), I came down with a cold and sore throat... just so much! UGH!
BUT... AMEN, I think I am feeling a bit better, got more sleep last night AND got to sleep in!!
I think my body is starting to adjust better to the new style of eating that I have! I lost another 2 lbs this week; that's 6 total now in the past month or so!
See the first pic above of the FAMILY blocks? I tucked these away at Christmas time and just recently found them, aren't they cute? I think I got them through LTD Commodities. I LOVE the stuff they have to order on that site!!

My pretty Dahlia's are in FULL bloom now! The tiger lilies have shot up and will bloom soon too. Still haven't gotten over to the neighbors yard to dig up and transplant some of his lovely flowers into my yard! Hopefully next week:)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The boys and I have been spending a lot of time outside, going to the park and for walks! I love the nice weather!!
Here is my oldest and I; the wind was blowing like crazy so my hair is a MESS! lol:)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I had some gals over to scrap on Monday night; and here is my CUTE creation! I made the train track out of cardstock and added the train sticker to it:)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~For a gift to the kids on the last day of school, I bought some Kool-Aid Kool Pops and wrapped them in bundles on 5 and added a little tag that said "Hope your summer is as COOL as you are!".
The popsicle clip art came from my Printmaster Platinum CD-Rom set that I have; it is WONDERFUL!
Then Gavin tells me when he got home yesterday, that his teacher forgot the pass the popsicles out at the end of the day; I was ANNOYED with that!
*************************************************************************************For Gavin's teacher I just went to Dollar Tree and got her a bunch of cute classroom/teacher supplies for next year. Some name plates, magnets, reward stickers...
..........................................................................................................................................................................Today, I think the boys and I may seek out a couple yard sales to find some "treasures"! We'll see how that goes- lol!
We have 2 graduation parties to go to this weekend and I hope to get some more flowers to plant in the yard too.
I know I get teased all the time for changing my blog layouts but I'm gonna do it once again! LOL
I am feeling the LOVE for summer and want to show it here on my blog! And YES, I am a BIT Obsessive Compulsive with doing this!! hehehehe:)
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend; what are your plans???
Hugs,
Noelle ♥
Good morning, Noelle! The wind blown look is great on you! ♥
I'm so happy for you that you're losing weight! I'm at a stand still. It's those first few pounds that are the hardest!
That's great that you give teacher gifts! Teacher's work so hard! I just can't imagine having a class of that many kids all day long!
Cute popcycle idea! I bet Gavin will remember that.
Cute scrapbook page, too! I wish I had more patience for matting. It gives such a nice finished look but I guess I'm also a bit stingy with my papers!
BTW, Lindsey found me some gingham paper at her scrapbook store garage sale!
I can't go garage sailing today because my van is sick. It goes in the shop Monday and unless Bobby's truck is *out* of the shop-we'll be without a car! That should be interesting!
Good day! ♥
Ya, I got the whole it's not a diet but a fun new lifestyle chat too! But it's working so yay! Why is it that I can gain five lbs just looking at the bag of chips but it takes months to lose it!
I think that teacher is going to LOVE you! It's such a drag having to drop a load to buy that stuff that's necessary for the start of the year when you'd rather be buying cool teaching ideas books!
That stinks about the popsicles, I can't believe she forgot! Maybe she wanted to stash them for her kid's last day, ha:) Or treat the other teachers and make them think she was super crafty!
Speaking of SUPER crafty, I love the train track you made!!! How creative and it came out fab.
Now that you're private are you going to still do Scrapbook Sunday?
BTW: Sorry this comment is soooo long, but I didn't realize until now that your updates would no longer show up in my dashboard. I just thought you were taking a break.
I came over to say, "What up and where are you," only to find a bunch of posts I missed! So I wasn't being antisocial, even if I get crazy busy and only have five seconds you're one of five blogs I check first so I'd have been over if I'd known! Gotta keep up with my girl!
PS: I happen to love the new look the flip flops are too cute and the color palatte is so fun! It's your blog, you should change it whenever you want. It's supposed to be fun:)
Awww you are such a good mommy! That sucks that the teacher forgot to hand them out. They are tooo cute!
