Last night, Brian and I got a DATE Night! We went to see Couples Retreat; which we thought would be a lot more funny than it was but in its own odd way, was very inspirational to how our relationship is!
Here's the overview of the movie: Four Midwestern couples embark on a journey to a tropical island resort. While one of the couples is there to work on their marriage, the other three set out to jet ski, spa and enjoy some fun in the sun. They soon discover that participation in the resort's couples therapy is not optional. Suddenly, their group-rate vacation comes at a price. What follows is a hilarious look at real world problems faced by all couples.
I think it was a great movie, but had some sexual inneuendo's in it, nothing too bad! If you don't mind a very buff foreign yoga instructor in a speedo swimsuit "dry-humping" the characters during a yoga session than this movie probably won't offend you too much!!
(LOL, sorry about the phrase "dry-humping" not sure how else to word it??)
After the movie, we decided to grab some dinner!
We headed to Wings, an old fave of ours; where if we take the kids, its NEVER a fun time!
So, we enjoyed some wings, cheesey bread, he got a beer and I got a Smirnoff Triple Black (girly malt liquor type drink!) I know, I know... not obeying the "carb rules" at this dinner but how often does date night really occur?? We chatted about our relief that the stress of the wedding is almost over (4 weeks from this coming Satruday), talked a LONG time about our honeymoon to the Smokey Mountains (he commented that he hopes the weather is nice enough for us to sit out in the 2 rocking chairs shown on our cabin's upper deck; with a blender of something "ex. margaritas" and enjoy the peaceful surroundings..." Awwww, that is VERY MUSHY for my Brian!! ♥ He also told me last night that I have a "very cute face"!! Awwww again, cause the biggest compliment that I usually get out of him is "You look Nice!" Wow, Nice?? I think that old ladies in retirement homes look NICE; don't I still qualify as a lil bit HOTTTT in his eyes??? LOL-- Men!!!
Enough of that romance stuff, I'm off to do some laundry! (I know, that killed the moment, didn't it?? hehehe)
Love ya,
Noelle ♥

Ha-ha-ha-ha! "I think Old ladies in retirement homes look nice." I'm sure you're hot in his eyes. he just has a hard time saying it. ♥
I've been wanting to see that movie! sounds like a great date night :-)
Sounds like it was a great date night:-) Hadn't heard about the movie but will probably rent it when it comes out on video...now you have me curious about the dry humping! ROFL!! Nope, no calorie or carbs counting allowed when out on a date night. That's the rules...well my rules anyway! hehe xoxo
How I would love a Night out with my Man!
Sounds like you guys had a great time!
Sounds like a great evening out honey! You two need to reconnect and it's really important to go have some time together before the wedding. It's so easy to get swept up in all the drama of getting married. So glad you went out! Your night sounds more romantic then our prewedding date night. Brad took me to a Red Hot Chili Pepper's concert, my favorite band at the time. While it was sweet, the music was too loud to really talk during.
sounds like ill wait till that comes out on netflix!
Awe! Love it when guys get mushy!!
I was thinking of checking the movie out when it comes OnDemand. Lot of cool actors in it.
