Hello! I am SO glad tomorrow is FRIDAY!
What a week!
On a good note...
Gage SLEPT ALL NIGHT last night!!
I am SOO excited that Easter is a week away!
Gonna go to Church on Easter Sunday, give the boys their Easter baskets then head to the in laws for an egg hunt and lunch; not sure if my mom is having Easter dinner? (Mom are you?)
Here are a couple REALLY cute Easter layouts I found from Scrapbooks Etc. magazine...
I'd have to ditch the pink for my boys albums but I loooove this layout!
Cute! I found some new chipboard letters at Target for 99 cents that I can use on this layout title!!
Looove the large shot of the boy on the left; I always want to use bigger pics in my albums but forgot to order the larger size :(
Check out this CUTE Martha Stewart CRAFT idea...
Looove it!
Here are the directions:
No special flower-arranging skills are needed to make these brunch-table centerpieces -- just a few hallmarks of spring: blades of grass, muscari blooms, and a cache of pretty eggs.
Tools and MaterialsSmall glass or plastic container
Slightly larger flowerpot
Potting soil
Small flat of wheatgrass
Muscari (or other small flowers)
Wire mesh (or any other material to prop up eggs)
Quail eggs or ostrich eggshell (Quail eggs are available at specialty-food stores and localharvest.org; ostrich eggshells, at uniquelyemu.com.)
Centerpiece How-To
1. Place the small container inside the larger flowerpot. Fill in the gap between the two with potting soil, and water lightly.
2. Tear off small clumps of wheatgrass (gently, keeping soil and roots intact), and arrange them on top of the potting soil. Fill in with muscari.
3. Place a small ball of wire mesh in the small container, and pile quail eggs on top. (If using an ostrich eggshell, no mesh is needed.)
Quail eggs?
I'm gonna use the candy Robin's Eggs on mine!!
Where can you find wheatgrass at?
Or can you buy wheatgrass seed?
INTERESTING!
