Hutch Decor Redo; DIY craft

Hi sweeties!
Here is a BIT of the FUN stuff that I've been up to, other than sitting in dr's offices... more about THAT later!
Onto the RED WHITE 'n BLUE...

I never put out much decor for the 4th of July, just never really had much of it, till...
I found the NEWEST love of my life...

and then got inspired by this doll face who makes the CUTEST crafts...

JenGlamGirl...

Go to her blog and tell her HI, you will love her too:)

......................................................................
So my Goodwill hutch got a RWB makeover this past weekend after a trip to my love, The Christmas Tree Shops and a DIY craft using 3 plates I got from Goodwill for 50 cents each!

Close up...
Still needs a couple things I think... maybe on the shelf with the 3 plates?

Love this rustic metal star sign from CTS, for $1.99...

Found this little chipped up birdhouse at GW for a buck!
Added some of the foil star garland to it...
Got this star garland at... Meijer maybe? for $1.99 also. I wrapped it all around the spindles on the plate shelf and added it to other items for some more RWB flavor!

Brought my fave tea cup planter in the kitchen and added this sparkly pomander ball to it; the red white and blue towel is from Pampered Chef years ago!

Found these cute lil wooden signs at CTS (Chrismas Tree Shops) for a dollar each...

Just think they are so cute:)

Here are the plates that I jazzed up a bit...

Just used a sheet of scrapbook paper, Modge Podge and 3 chipboard letters...
SO EASY!

On my last GW trip I found this super cute sign...
Love it, so so cute!!

Man our GW's haven't had much of a selection of cutesy knick knacks lately:(
But I'm happy with my finds and a bit of patriotic decor!

Don't forget to enter my FOOTASTIC giveaway, WINNER will be announced this SATURDAY!
