Needed: Some ideas...

So... I got an Apothecary Jar a couple months back and had it filled with little pastel eggs for Easter time and now it sits empty on my counter:(

I need some fun and creative ideas from you girls on what I can add to my lonely jar!! I'm thinking Spring and Summer ideas... HELP!!

P.S. I listed several items on Ebay the past 2 weeks and have made around $65.00!! Yahoo $$ So, I suppose I could spend a few bucks of that filling the inside of my jar with something CUTE!

My mom suggested Salt Water Taffy, which is CUTE but too tempting to eat!!

So, tell me... what do I put inside my jar?

Hi Noelle...
Good job on your ebay sales and your Etsy shop too!
You could fill your jar with seashells for sunner or maybe old game pices which is what I did. You could fill it with potpourri,...... marbles....hmmm...polished stones..... use your imagination! I know you have a good one. :o) Sue

Good ideas from suzeeez! I really like the Sea shell idea. Here's some others:

Silk flower buds (no stems)

Some girls are finding spheres in the stores- sort of like ornaments but with out the neck and hook part.

A bird nest "nestled" on a mound of lace...

Buttons

Spools of thread

Bouncy balls

So- *what* did you sell on ebay?

Yea for making $65!!!! What did you sell? I've been wanting an apocathary jar. Where did you get yours? You could put sand and shells in it or some colorful gerber daisies (which they have at the dollar tree!).

How about some colourful glass marbles - maybe your boys have some knocking around ?
I`d put those glass nuggets , then some sisal / raffia pieces to make a nest then a bird - but i love nests / birds anyway ;o) And maybe some good looking artifical flowers around the inside edge to make it look like a small bit of garden with moss ?

I am boring and have that smelly stuff that starts with p and NOT the kind that ends with a p and has two o's in the middle. I just for the life of me can't spell it today! I tried and tried and looks so wrong! Oh well you know that smelly stuff. I keep that in all year round. But it is super pretty with greens and purples and in large chunks with fruit like shapes and flowers. Well maybe that doesn't sound cute but it is. I've seen them with sand and shells inside and that looked really cute.

Oh, I have these jars too - in one I have a bunch of old strands of pearls...in another I filled it with buttons and an another I curled strips of paper in it and it looks super cool - they are not all together either hance the reason for the variation.
