Accomplished!

Nothing says TIME TO CLEAN other than a cold windy winter day in Northern Indiana!
Hubby had to work today so I chilled (literally) at home with the boys...
and CLEANED!

I started on my computer desk then preceded to go through scrap booking supplies by the mother load!
I pitched some stuff and stuck a bunch of the "stuff I thought I'd use in my albums but haven't touched in like 3 years" into a box to set out at my next crop as FREEBIES for my croppers!

I swept the basement, did a couple loads of laundry.
Headed upstairs for lunch then did the dishes, put 4 baskets of laundry away...
cleaned up my oldest sons room AGAIN!
Straightened up lil Messy Marvin's room then began to do this...

Put plastic insulation on the boys windows!!
I've been talking about doing this for years so I am SO PROUD that I remembered to purchase this at Walmart the other day!
I put it over the big window in our bedroom yesterday and have already noticed a different in there; its actually WARM!
Our house is about 50 years old, maybe a little more and BRICK and COLD!
The windows are getting drafty which is a major investment that we can't do at this time.

So I got the boys windows done and it was time for this...

Swiffer Wet Jet!
I am in LOVE with this thing!!

It makes mopping soooo easy!
And I found out that if you remove the bottle of cleaner,
it provides at least an hour of endless entertainment for busy little boys!
When you press the button it makes a "brrrrrrrmmmmm" sound and they LOVE it!
But if you press the button, the cleaner will squirt out!
So me being a GENIUS today... I thought "Hmmm, I will take the cleaner out and they still can play with it!"
So my living room floor got dusted with the cloth on the bottom (hard wood floors) and they had a BLAST!

Another exciting day tomorrow...
BACK TO THE GYM!
I haven't gone since November, well since before the wedding!
I've gained back 2 pounds and the belly is full of jelly:(
So I will get measured, be sad for a moment at the numbers then hop my phat fanny on the treadmill!!
My goal is to lose 30 lbs by June 1st!
Which if I go back to eating GOOD like I was in the summer, it shouldn't be a problem!!

-----------------------------------------
Apologies if this was a boring post...
It feels good to get off my rear and GET MOTIVATED!!

Love you all!!

Noelle ♥

Our house is really old...like early 1900's old. We have to cover the windows downstairs every year or we may as well leave the front door open! We cut heat off upstairs b/c it, literally, just goes out the windows...and there are a lot of very large, very odd shaped windows!!

I need to clean...and do laundry...and go to the gym.

I've been saying that I'm putting that stuff on the windows now ever since it started getting cold. And with the heat bill I just paid, I should be doing it ASAP. Our house is an old farmhouse and I don't think they updated anything before we rented it. I need to get my butt in gear!

Hugz,
Michele

Goodness all in one day!
If You keep cleaning up a storm like that you won't need a gym!

Hey Noelle~ Got your comment.. My hubby served a mission for the LDS church. You can decide if you want to serve and and preach the GOSPEL, "our mormon faith" and then the young men receive a letter that tells them where they are going to be serving. They leave at the age of 19 and serve the lord for 2 years. Its a very dedicated religious service.. you may have seen missionary's riding bikes in your life sometime. They where name tags that say ELDER... Anyhoo, my hubs went to South Africa.. pretty freaking cool. He has great stories. He was able to convert some African's and then baptize them. Its a huge amazing experience from what I have learned and been told. Hugs, have a great night! Jenn

Before we changed the windows last year. I've always used the kit for the windows. It works!
Now I have to go out and buy me one of those
Swiffer Wet Jets. Heard from several that they loved it.

Have a good day!

Good for you for getting so much accomplished in one day! I've been decluttering my house ever since I took down the Christmas stuff and doing one room at a time. If I haven't used something in a year, out it goes!! I only want to keep the things I use often. I've brought loads of bags and boxes to the charity thrift shop and have kept the better stuff to sell at a yard sale come Spring. I'm not quite done yet but getting there:-)

We always put that plastic over the windows in the winter time because of our cold winters. No matter how good the seals are on the windows, we would feel the cold through them.

I use the Swiffer Wet Jet and love it as well:-) I've had mine ever since they first came out!! xoxo
