Today I made a trip to Big Lots!!
I was looking for a couple new not too pricey pieces for my living room.
Here is what I found...
The cute HOPE sign above this mirror was a BL find for under $10!
I'm HOPING it gives us some inspiration in our home to have HOPE for what the future has in store for us.
This shutterpane mirror has been on my wall for years;
I added a valentine ornament and tag to it that were made for me by Michele last Valentines Day as part of a swap.
To the left of the mirror are the new new pictures I picked up today for $10 a piece...
The top frame has a F for Faith and a little saying.
The pic below was just pretty; I loved the warmth of the bronze frame.
Aren't they pretty?
These hang to the right of the mirror...
The blessings sign came from Michaels last winter and this LOVE frame was a bridal shower gift from my friend Heather.

I want to look at this picture and the inspirational words on the wall art around it and remember that we love each other and will have many tough times and many wonderful times in our marriage.
Just seems like there are too many tough times lately:(
But we are in this for the long haul and my fave quote is...
"This too shall pass!"
We got a card in the mail this past week for a FREE marriage encounter weekend coming up this November 2010 here in our city. It will take place on week after our 1 year wedding anniversary and I REALLY want us to go. It would be a wonderful time to spend reflecting on our married life and to be able to spend some one on one time together ♥ Also do receive advice and attend a couples workshop too. I've got many months to get babysitter/s lined up and I'm GONNA make it happen!!

hey girlfriend - I'll babysit :D I would too...Love big lots - they always have some good stuff there. I bought my brothers their christmas gifts from there shhh - anyway love your signs and the black frame with ur guys' picture in it...I think we have similar taste - cool beans

Those are really cute! I love having inspirational messages around the house reminding us everyday to have hope and that things will be okay.
I think you should totally go to that marriage workshop. Especially since it's free and you don't get many opportunities like that. It can only help :)
