Hello! I woke up this morning feeling yucky with a sore throat but mustered
up a bunch of energy to get some cleaning done!!
I swept & mopped the kitchen, cleaning the cat box (hate that job!!) and created a little something new for the kitchen table...
The pink tinsel wreath was an after Target find for $.50!!
And the bulbs were $1.25 there too!
I added them into my trifle bowl; love the colors!
I was gonna use that wreath for Valentine's Day too, for the front door.
Was thinking of a way to add some cute hearts to it?
I really would like to have a tablecloth on my kitchen table but with all the play-doh, glue and moon sand that gets on it, I just don't think it will work for us at this time!
I took down the Christmas tree and moved my record player back;
and kept the side table that my bro made me in wood shop when he was in high school.
Added a wedding pic and that cute tea cup planter I found awhile back at Michaels.
Added some more ball ornaments too!
I decided to keep some snowman decor up for now cause we sure have lots of snow outside; probably about 15 inches this weekend!
Gage in front of the record player. ♥
I kept a strand of red lights on there for a warm glow.
Then Gage and I got busy with some cleaning up of the toys...
and some easy ways for him to organize his toys in the living room.
I pulled this bookshelf in from the garage, where its been since summer.
Its OLD; got it from Brian's grandma's house.
I thought about repainting it and putting it in our room, but like the extra storage for toys.
I am going to look for some fabric or panels to adhere to the front of the shelf to
"hide" the toys away!!
I put together the NOEL banner from the Making Memories kit I got yesterday...
see below.
What a day!!
I am still working on getting together My Fave Winter Things Giveaway...
I plan to post it later this week!!
Noelle ♥

Sheesh...You do all that when you are feeling ill!!!
I don't get that done when I am well!
All looks good,I have reused a book shelf for toys too...Best thing ever,Whatever is on it is what they do play with so I regularly turn the toys over and it is like xmas for them all over
What a productive day for you! I'm leaving out all my snowmen and ginger breads but the rest is getting packed away bit by bit! I like your ornaments in bowls. I like to that,t oo but not this year! ♥
Wow, you were busy!
Great organization you have going on! I did something similar with 2 old shelves for my kids with their toys.
My next goal is to go through all the toys the kids don't play with and donate to goodwill. It's finding the energy to do so.
I hope you feel better today!
Hey Noelle,
It sounds like you've been up to the same things I've been doing...cleaning and organizing...glad to know I'm not alone on my journey! LOL! It feels great to get everything all in it's place again don't it!? I love that metal teacup, I saw some when I was out shopping and I loved it, but at the time...I didn't know what in the world I would put in it...so I passed on buying it.....why didn't I think of bulbs?! LOL! Everything looks great Noelle...love that colorful and festive table centerpiece too.
Hope you have a great week sweetie!
Big Hugs,
Queenie
I admire you! All I've been doing is sitting on my behind crocheting and wishing my house was in order! You sure hit the jackpot at Michael's! We love that place! Have a great week! Twyla
Everything looks lovely. I hope one day I have the same energy and decorativeness that you do!!!
