Welcome to Scrapbook Sunday! Boy, here in Indiana it sure has felt a lot like my favorite season... FALL!! I have actually seen a couple trees changing color around town! Fall decor is going up in the stores, the cool crisp air and frost on the car windows in the morning are all tell-tale signs of what is on its way!
Soooo... I pulled out a couple FALL inspired Scrapbook pages!
Awhile back in my oldest son's album, I did a calendar page for each month and NOW I wish I still did them! I would write in special events that took place, etc. Then add some small stickers to liven up the page and a border strip with the month on it as well.
Here is my October calendar page, I believe its from 2004.

What would Fall be with some leave raking and jumping fun?!?
I used my leaf punch from Creative Memories to punch out the cute maple and oak leaves!
I LOVE this layout because Gavin was so happy to help rake and was THRILLED to jump in the leaf piles!

Looking back at these photos makes me sentimental, in that, we should savor each day with out children because they grow up so FAST! He was 4 here and an ever so HAPPY little boy!
Now he is 8 and grumpy with school/homework and his baby brother "bothering" him:( Makes me sad sometimes!! He still is a great kid, but MOODY sometimes!!!!

Mr. Linky is on my last NERVE so I didn't add it to this post!
But, if you did a SS post... just leave me a comment with the link and I'll add you on throughout the day!

your pages are really cute
That calender idea is really great! In fact I would love to do one for myself. Just put a little picture or write what you did everyday of your birthday month or whichever month is special to you. What a great way to remember. I remember Jordan going through those 'grumpy' times. Pressures of school made him a different kid. Have a nice Sunday! Twyla

Now I am gonna read your post:)
The calendar idea is a sweet idea! You also chose the month and year I gave birth to Michaela!! I also like your leaf pages! I also had did a border with the leaf punch. Not my punch though, did it at a class.
Lindsey is also grumpy. Or she will be next week. That is when our school system starts. It is the law in Michigan...no school starts until after Labor Day. That is so the Up North sites can make money on one last weekend. I like that law:)
here in Indiana is has felt like falL!!!! which is my fav season too! I went out side this morning and said "Its cold!" lol. great scrapbooking!
love it - I will be posting my layout later today. So glad that you are feeling the FALL already not us...it's hot, muggy and icky. Only santuary is in our house with the air on....ughhh
Aw, Gavin buried up to his neck in leaves looks so cute!
Love the fall leaves punch out. i would love that. I was eyeing punches at Walmart today. They got a bunch of new ones in.
Our weather is a bit cooler and the humidity is down just a bit. Much more tolerable! ♥
Are you using Mr Linky or McLinky because the second seems a lot easier to use and more reliable.
Are you having a cold snap too? Our high was only in the low 60s today, the perfect fall day...got me thinking of going apple picking. Love the pictures in the leaves and aren't those calendar pages handy. Cause even if you don't scrap each event it does help you remember what was going on.
Hey Noelle,
Your son is such a cutie...they do grow up so fast don't they? I wish I could slow down the time a little bit too.
Lucky you...getting some fall weather already! I hope to one day live in a place that I will get to enjoy 4 seasons. We did have a few cool mornings here where we live...(it was so wonderful)...I sat outside and drank my morning coffee. The cool mornings didn't last long though...we were back in the 90's again....Sigh...
Big Hugs,
Queenie
Babies of ours do grow too fast!
But Like the Leaves Changing they do too.
Your Little guy is growing up! Sob,sob...
Hey Sugar...my scrapbook page is up... I know its late...it's front page - hugs
